Radomlje and Olimpija Ljubljana shared the points in a 0-0 draw at Sportni Park on Saturday afternoon. The Slovenian first league meeting ended without a goal despite both sides creating chances. Olimpija arrived with a slight advantage, sitting sixth with eight points from seven games, while Radomlje sat ninth after six matches with five points.
The opening exchanges saw Olimpija control possession, but Radomlje's defence held firm. Things came to a head around the half-hour mark when Kristjan Bendra picked up a booking for the hosts. Olimpija responded with discipline of their own, Matevz Vidovsek going into the referee's book just before the break. By then, Dimitar Mitrovski had also been cautioned, making it three yellows in the opening period.
Second half substitutions began in earnest at the hour mark. Radomlje brought on vanja pelko, while Olimpija introduced Jasa Martincic. Jošt Urbančič joined the home side shortly after, but the pattern remained unchanged — Olimpija dominated territory without finding the breakthrough. Bruno burcul joined the list of booked players at sixty minutes.
Radomlje turned to their bench in waves, bringing on Dimitar Mitrovski, Jan Gorenc, Daviti Kobouri, and Antonio Marin between seventy-second and seventy-sixth minutes. Olimpija added Josip Balic late on, while divine ikenna came on in stoppage time. Bruno Lourenco and Mamadou Saydou Bangura completed the yellow card tally for the visitors.
The statistics told a familiar story: Olimpija attacked more frequently with 142 touches compared to Radomlje's 101, and held 57 per cent possession. But shots on target were level at four apiece, and shots off target stood at six and eight respectively. Many shots with one goal would have been the narrative here, but there was no goal at all — chances went begging for both sides.
The result leaves Olimpija two points clear of Radomlje in the table, though the gap feels smaller than the numbers suggest. Both clubs dropped valuable points in what was a tactical stalemate rather than a spectacle. The table goes out of the window in these games, but neither side walked away empty-handed.
