Real Esport put four goals past Zamora in the Clausura fourth round on Saturday night, the final score reading 6-1 at the Estadio. The hosts moved clear on top of the table with that result, while Zamora dropped further down the standings.
The opening exchanges were all one side, Real Esport pressing from the first whistle. Uribe found the net at minute 16 and Gonzalez added a second just a minute later, before Castellanos converted a penalty at the half-hour mark. Da Silva made it 4-0 just before the break and that was enough to settle the contest, though the visitors kept trying to find a way back in.
Zamora brought on three players at the restart, Jimenez, Gomez and Marco Bustillo all coming on together. The hosts responded with changes of their own, bringing on Zeballos and Hernandez. Valladares received a yellow card before being replaced at minute 66, while Da Silva went off at the same time as Flores and Sulbaran for Real Esport.
Moreno scored at minute 77 and Gonzalez added another at 87, before Herrera completed the scoring in stoppage time. Rojas and Torrealba both picked up bookings for Zamora, with Da Silva and Valladares already in the book for their respective sides.
Real Esport now sit second with 40 points from 20 games, five clear of the chasing pack. Zamora remain ninth with 24 points and eight defeats, their recent form offering little comfort. The hosts had won two of their last three before this match, while the visitors lost their previous two outings.
