About the player
Registered by Grêmio and then Botafogo through his early twenties, he made only a handful of senior appearances for either club and was farmed out on loan after loan — Boavista, Rio Verde, Ypiranga, Figueirense — before Figueirense finally made the arrangement permanent.
At Chaves he scored 21 goals in 50 appearances across two seasons, form that took him to Moreirense in 2020. There he became a genuine goalscorer: 27 league goals in 86 appearances over four years, including a spell in the second tier where he finished as top scorer with 14 goals and helped Moreirense win the 2022–23 Liga Portugal 2 title and return to the top flight.
That form carried him to China. Shanghai Shenhua signed him in January 2024, and he was named the Chinese Super League's top foreign striker that year with 16 goals. He also picked up two Chinese FA Super Cup winners' medals with the club — coming off the bench in the 2024 final, then scoring the winning goal in the 90+7th minute of the 2025 final. Across two seasons in Shanghai he scored 27 league goals in 51 appearances.
He left Shanghai Shenhua as a free agent in January 2026 and joined Mirassol, taking the number 99 shirt.
