About the player
Andrézinho arrived at Oţelul Galaţi in July 2025 on a free transfer from Alverca, the club where his career began and to which he returned twice before making the move to Romania permanent. He signed a two-year contract, with his market value put at around €550,000 at the time of the deal.
His path through Portuguese football has been built on free transfers rather than fees. After his first spell at Alverca, where he made 49 league appearances, he spent two seasons at Casa Pia, then returned to Alverca before joining Mafra in August 2020. A brief stint with the Slovak side DAC Dunajská Streda followed in early 2022, before he moved on to Santa Clara, where he stayed for two years. He then moved to Oţelul.
At youth level, Andrézinho represented Portugal across several age groups, collecting caps for the U18, U19, U20 and U21 sides.
