Dejan Zukić

Sixteen years old and already in Vojvodina's first team: when Zukić made his senior debut in the summer of 2017, he was the youngest player the club had on its books. He had come up through their U15, U17 and U19 sides, signed his first professional contract in March 2019 and stayed until 2024, by which time he had made 170 league appearances and scored 23 goals.

The years in Novi Sad brought a Serbian Cup in the 2019–20 season and a Player of the Week award in Round 24 of the 2022–23 SuperLiga campaign. In 2021–22 he twice scored in extra time, an unusual return for a single season.

The move abroad came on 9 July 2024, when Wolfsberger AC paid €900,000 for him. He wore number 20 in Austria and won the Austrian Cup in his first season there, forming a productive partnership with Thierno Ballo. In 2025–26 he led the Austrian Bundesliga in assists with ten. Across his time at the club he played 62 league matches and scored 17 goals.

His senior international debut followed on 11 October 2025, in a 2026 World Cup qualifier against Albania. He had previously represented Serbia at every youth level from U16 to U21, and as of that month had three caps.

Vojvodina brought him back on 30 June 2026 for €2.5 million. He signed until June 2029 and took the number 10 shirt. In the opening months of 2026–27 he leads the SuperLiga scoring charts with five goals.
