About the player
David Moses made the move from Nigerian football to the Czech Republic, leaving the Central Football Academy in Abuja for MFK Karviná in March 2022 after being spotted while playing for B Angels Football Club. He started out with Karviná's youth and B teams before working his way into the first team in the spring of 2023.
Over three seasons at Karviná he made 41 league appearances and was part of the squad that won the Czech National Football League in 2022–23, earning promotion to the Czech First League. Slavia Prague signed him in January 2025 on a contract running to the end of June 2029.
Moses made his Slavia debut against Mladá Boleslav on 2 February 2025 and did not have to wait long for his first goal, scoring against his former club Karviná on 11 April 2025. He has since won the Czech First League with Slavia, in 2024–25 and 2025–26.
He has not yet featured for Nigeria at any level, senior or youth, though his agent has said he is set to represent the country in future.
