Harrison Burrows

Harrison Burrows joined the Peterborough United academy at the age of six and spent his entire early career at the club before signing his first professional contract in January 2019 and making his first-team debut that August in an EFL Cup tie against Oxford United. Over 185 senior appearances he scored 20 goals and added 30 assists. In the 2023–24 season, aged 22, he was made club captain, the youngest to hold the role in Peterborough's recent history, and led the side to victory in the EFL Trophy, scoring twice late in the 2–1 final win over Wycombe Wanderers. That campaign brought wider recognition: he was named EFL League One Player of the Season and included in the division's Team of the Season.

The performances prompted a move to Sheffield United in July 2024, for an initial fee of £3 million with add-ons that could take the deal to £6 million, including a promotion bonus and provisions tied to England caps. He signed a four-year contract at Bramall Lane. Burrows has since made over 90 appearances for the club in the Championship, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists, and was named in the EFL Championship Team of the Season for 2024–25.

At international level, Burrows has represented England at Under-21 level, earning his first cap in a friendly against the Netherlands in March 2022.
