About the player

Ivan Miličević started out at Široki Brijeg, making his senior debut there in 2017 and winning the Croatian Cup with the club the following season. A brief loan at Dugopolje in early 2018 preceded his move to Lokomotiva Zagreb later that year, where he spent most of his development on loan elsewhere: at Varaždin, where he won the Croatian Second Football League in 2018–19, then at Dubrava and at Željezničar. He returned to Lokomotiva in 2021 and finally became a regular starter, a season in which he was rated as the highest-rated left-back in the division and named among the biggest surprises of the 2021–22 campaign.

Miličević left Croatia in January 2024, joining Greek side Kifisia on a free transfer, before moving on to Hungary's Fehérvár that August. He signed for AC Horsens in June 2025 on a free transfer, agreeing a two-year contract. His first season at the Danish club brought promotion to the Superligaen, with a goal in the play-off win over Hvidovre IF proving decisive, and Horsens finished as runners-up in the 1st Division. He also lifted the Arena Cup with Lokomotiva in 2023.

Since the step up to the Superligaen, the left-back has mostly featured from the bench, but he found the net against Viborg in the opening weeks of the season. Miličević has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at youth level, with caps for both the under-19 and under-21 sides.
