Jorge Padilla

Jorge Padilla came through the CD Tenerife academy after arriving from La Oliva, and made his professional debut for the club on 30 November 2019 in a 1–3 defeat to UD Almería. He scored his first senior goal that same December, in the Copa del Rey against CD Mensajero, followed a few weeks later by his first league goal in a 4–2 win over Albacete Balompié.

Rather than an immediate breakthrough, his path to the Tenerife first team ran through a series of loans: Atlético Levante B, where he scored four goals in 27 appearances; Racing de Ferrol, with one goal in 18 games; and Mérida AD, where he made 22 appearances without finding the net. In between, he was part of the Tenerife B squad that won the Segunda Federación Group 5 title and earned promotion to Primera Federación in the 2023–24 season. He was only handed a permanent place in the Tenerife first team on 3 February 2025, but his contract was terminated that August.

He then joined CD Teruel on a free transfer, contributing one goal and three assists across 18 appearances, before moving to Cherno More Varna on a free transfer on 31 January 2026. At youth level, Padilla was the top scorer for Spain's under-17 side at the Villa de Adeje tournament, though he has not featured for the senior national team.
