About the player
Marko Dijaković came through Vienna football before he came through anyone's first team. He started at Wiener Sport-Club, moved into FK Austria Wien's academy, and finished his development at SK Rapid Wien, where he progressed through the reserve side, SK Rapid Wien II, making 55 appearances and scoring six goals in the Austrian 2. Liga. He made his senior debut for Rapid Wien in November 2021 and went on to play in the Europa League with the club, though his first-team involvement stayed limited to two appearances before he moved on.
Dijaković was capped repeatedly for Austria's youth sides, from the under-15s through to the under-18s, totalling 18 caps and three goals across those age groups, but he has not featured for the senior national team.
A move away from Austria came in August 2023, when he joined GKS Tychy in the Polish second division on a two-year deal. He made 50 appearances and scoring three goals before his contract ran out in the summer of 2025.
Dijaković then stayed in Poland, signing for Śląsk Wrocław on a free transfer in June 2025 on a one-year contract with the option to extend. He made a single appearance for the club's reserve team in the II Liga.
