About the player
He did get a medal the following season, winning the Belgian Cup with KAA Gent in 2021/22 as backup goalkeeper, without featuring in the final itself.
Jochmans returned to OH Leuven in 2022, starting again with the U23 side in the First National reserve league, where he made 45 appearances spread across three seasons. He earned a promotion to the senior squad for 2024/25, and his debut followed on 16 May 2025, when he came on as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat to Westerlo. His contract at the club runs to 2026, extended the previous August.
At youth international level, Jochmans was capped nine times by Belgium's U17s between 2019 and 2020, including an appearance against Germany U17, and added a single cap for the U19s against Portugal U19 in 2021.
