Pedro Barcelos

The high point came in 2021/22, when Mafra reached the semi-finals of the Taça de Portugal; Barcelos scored twice in the league that season and once in the cup. In total he made 89 league appearances for the club, adding 10 in the cup and six in the League Cup.

The route there was long. He started at Vasco da Gama Vidigueira in 2015/16, 15 matches and a goal, then moved to Portugal in 2016 with Sporting Viana do Alentejo , where he played 19 times in his first season. Between 2017 and 2019 he also turned out for Cova da Piedade B in the U23 Liga Revelação. A contract at Louletano followed in July 2019: 25 matches and a goal in the Campeonato de Portugal across two seasons, plus two cup ties.

The return to Brazil did not work. Barcelos joined América Mineiro in January 2024 and played no official Série B football that year — an injury picked up in July 2024 kept him out for roughly four months. In 2025 he managed three matches in the Campeonato Mineiro and one in Série B.

He signed for Académico de Viseu as a free agent in July 2025, on a deal running to 2027. In Liga Portugal 2 he played 25 matches in 2025/26 and scored against Leixões , collecting five yellow cards and two reds along the way. Three league appearances so far in 2026/27, plus one in the Taça de Portugal.
