About the player
Simon Graves grew up at Holstebro Boldklub and made his senior debut for the Danish club in April 2018. He went on to make 77 league appearances for Randers and scored his first professional goal in September 2021, in a UEFA Europa Conference League match against AZ Alkmaar. With Randers he also won the Danish Cup in the 2020–21 season.
In January 2023 the centre-back left Denmark for Italy, joining Palermo on a permanent transfer. His time in Serie B was limited to 17 appearances and one goal before a loan move to PEC Zwolle in August 2024 opened a new chapter. He started regularly and made 27 league appearances in his first season in the Netherlands.
That form persuaded PEC Zwolle to make the move permanent. The Dutch club exercised the option to buy in May 2025, with Palermo confirming the transfer on 23 May 2025.
At youth international level, Graves earned three caps for Denmark's U19 side, making his debut in a friendly against Cyprus in January 2018. He has not featured for the senior Danish national team.
