Tobe Leysen

Tobe Leysen grew up in Geel before spending seven years in the KRC Genk academy. He made his senior debut for Genk on 9 May 2022 against Royal Charleroi, though first-team opportunities at the club remained scarce: two league appearances across two seasons, with the bulk of his football coming for Jong Genk in the Challenger Pro League.

His move to OH Leuven in August 2023, in a deal worth around €550,000, changed that picture completely. Leysen quickly established himself as the club's undisputed number one, going on to make 93 league appearances and being voted OH Leuven's player of the year by supporters on two separate occasions. His contract at the club runs until June 2027.

Leysen has a Belgian Cup winner's medal from his time at Genk, having been part of the squad that beat Standard Liège 2–1 in the 2020–21 final, though he watched that game from the bench rather than featuring on the pitch. His representative career has so far stayed at youth level, with caps for Belgium's under-16, under-17, under-18 and under-21 sides between 2018 and 2024.
