About the player
Steindorsson came through Lyngby's academy after leaving Boldklubben 1903 during his youth years, working his way up to the U19 side before breaking into the first team. His senior debut came in the Danish Cup against BK Frem, when he was brought on as a substitute for Magnus Warming, and he later added a Superliga appearance, replacing Michael Opoku in a win over AaB.
The club rewarded his progress with a first professional contract, then extended the deal further, tying him to Lyngby for several more years. He was part of the squad that won the Danish 1st Division title and secured promotion back to the Superliga.
Steindorsson's path so far has been built entirely inside one club's structure, without a transfer fee attached to any stage of his development.
