About the player
The club paid FCI Levadia €500,000 to make Junior Yvan Nyabeye Dibango its own.
A season back in Estonia followed, then a second loan spell in Ukraine from July 2023, and finally the permanent move.
The route to Europe began at Dragon in Yaoundé, where he came through the academy and played for the senior side from 2018. Belarusian football took him next: Isloch Minsk Region signed him in March 2021 and kept him for a year.
His 2024–25 campaign in Ukraine brought two assists and ended early. He suffered a serious knee injury in May 2025 and underwent surgery in Finland, which ruled him out for the remainder of the season. Cameroon named him in a senior squad that same month, for friendlies against Uganda and Equatorial Guinea, while he was still recovering.
That was not his first senior call-up — he had been included in May 2024 for 2026 World Cup qualifiers — but he has yet to make his debut for the Indomitable Lions. His competitive international football amounts to one appearance for the under-20s in 2021, against Mozambique at the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, followed by under-23 call-ups from 2023.
In June 2026 he left Ukraine as a free agent and signed for LASK in Austria, on a contract running to 2029 and effective from 1 July.
