Almaz Antey U19

Twenty-two matches into the 2024/25 season without a defeat, and the Almaz Antey squad born in 2008 were still setting the pace — a run that broke the league record and helped carry the team to the ЮФЛ-1 title, with 68 points collected along the way. A year earlier a younger group at the same academy had already taken the regional ЮФЛ Северо-Запад crown, so the run wasn't a one-off. The 2006-07 side added a second trophy that season, winning the МФЛ-Б with 22 victories from 30 games.

None of this belongs to a first-team badge. Almaz Antey fields no senior side in the Russian Premier League, the FNL or the PFL — it is an academy, its teams built for the МФЛ and ЮФЛ ladders. Among those who have made that step: a goalkeeper, Ivan Perviy, now at Kolomna; Vasily Yatskov, who moved on to Orenburg; and Sergei Chernenko, who passed through Rubin.

The club's own account of itself reaches back further than its paperwork does. It presents itself as heir to a works team from the Obukhov Steel Plant that joined the Saint Petersburg football league in 1914 under the name Murzinka, and that later played as Bolshevik and won the Leningrad city championship in 1937. Almaz Antey makes no claim to be that club's legal successor — the line is one of memory, not registration. The current organisation dates to 12 September 2014, when a new stadium opened and the works' children's team was revived under the Almaz Antey name.

That stadium, also called Almaz Antey, stands on Obukhovskoy Oborony Avenue, its artificial pitch measured out to 105 by 68 metres inside a ground that holds 616 people.
