Bath

Bath's 14,509 capacity makes their ground the smallest in the Premiership. The club has played there since 1894.

In eight years his side won six league titles and ten domestic cups, and the nickname "Mighty Bath" dates from that run. In 1998 the club became the first English side to win the Heineken Cup, beating Brive 19–18 in the final.

What followed was a long wait. Bath is one of only three clubs never relegated from the top flight of English rugby, but a league title eluded them for 29 years after 1996, and 2002–03 came close to ending the streak altogether: the club avoided the drop by a single point and saw off a proposed merger with Bristol. The 2024–25 season closed that gap in one stroke. Bath beat Leicester Tigers 23–21 to win the Premiership, added the Premiership Rugby Cup with a 48–14 win over Exeter Chiefs, and took the European Challenge Cup by beating Lyon 37–12.

Jonny Wilkinson trained in the academy before he was known anywhere else.

Seven Premiership titles now stand against the club's name, six of them won inside eight years in the 1990s and the seventh arriving three decades later.
