Chernihiv

The club has played in the Second League since the 2022–23 reform. It shares a town with Desna and competes with it for infrastructure rather than for points.

The club was founded on 18 June 2003 under the name YuSB, and kept it for nearly fourteen years. Chernihiv arrived only in May 2017; a brief spell as Chernihiv-YuSB followed between June and August 2020 before the shorter name came back for good.

Artem Strilets scored for the Ukrainian students' team at the 2023 World University Championship, where they finished runners-up.

Before the promotion there was a season that never finished. In 2019–20 the club reached the final of the Ukrainian amateur championship, the tournament was halted, and no title was awarded. What the trophy room does hold is regional: the Chernihiv Oblast championship of 2019, the Oblast Cup of 2012 after a 4–1 win over Yednist-2, and the Oblast Super Cup in both those years.

Kudrivka are the neighbours who matter, a rivalry over which club runs the region and which climbs faster; it has never been given a name.
