Dukagjini

Three times Dukagjini reached the final of the Kosovo Cup, and three times they went home without it – beaten by Prishtina in 1995, by Flamurtari a year later, and by Llapi on penalties in 2021 after a goalless ninety minutes. On 21 May 2026 they kept knocking on the door until it finally opened, beating Ferizaj 2-1 to lift the trophy for the first time in the club's history.

The club from Klina was founded in 1958 and plays at Stadiumi "18 Qershori", which holds 3,000. Their nickname, Hithat – the nettles – fits a side that has rarely had it easy: an earlier league title, won in 1993/94, belongs to the period before Kosovo's football federation gained UEFA recognition and is remembered separately from everything since.

Promotion to the Superliga came in 2019, followed by relegation and a return through the play-offs in 2020/21. Fourth place in 2022/23 opened the door to Europe for the first time, and in the Conference League that followed, Dukagjini beat Europa FC in the first qualifying round before Rijeka ended the run in the second. A later European campaign, in 2026/27, went out at the same stage, to Lugano.

The cup now sits alongside a fourth-place league finish from 2025/26, and Klina's side head into the new season with their first major trophy behind them and another shot at Europe ahead.
