Holstebro TTH Women

Nordvestjysk Elite has no fixed enemy on the calendar, only geography that keeps producing one: Viborg HK and FC Midtjylland Håndbold sit close enough in Mid Jutland that every meeting carries the weight of a local claim, even without a name attached to it.

The identity itself is barely five months old. On 6 May 2026 the women's side dropped Holstebro Håndbold for Nordvestjysk Elite, a name built to speak for the whole of North West Jutland rather than the town alone. Blue survives from the club's earlier life as TTH Holstebro; orange was added to mark the broader reach. That earlier life goes back to a cooperation struck between HH90 Håndbold and Tvis KFUM in 2000, and it was under the TTH banner that the club had its best years, taking the EHF Cup in 2013 and again in 2015 before adding the EHF Cup Winners' Cup in 2016. When the men's and women's sides split in 2020, HH90 took the women's team back under its own roof, and it carried the TTH-era pedigree with it rather than starting over.

Sandra Toft came through the club before her career took her into the Danish national goal, one of several names from that TTH generation still attached to the place in supporters' memory.

None of that European pedigree has yet been matched at home: Promotion out of the 1. Division in 2025/26 puts it back in the Kvindeligaen for the first time carrying the new name, with the top of that table still the one thing missing from the record.
