Ikast Håndbold Women

The club has worn its current name only since 2023, after stretches as Ikast-Bording EH, FC Midtjylland Håndbold and Herning-Ikast Håndbold. The Midtjylland years, between 2008 and 2018, brought a change of colours to red and black and a nickname, Hunulvene — the She-Wolves — that has since given way to Enhjørningerne, the Unicorns, taken from a mascot introduced in 2017.

Anja Andersen's name still carries weight around the club, and Tonje Kjærgaard's number 3 has been retired. Four Danish championships came in 1998, 2011, 2013 and 2015, and the Cup has been won eight times, most recently in 2019. In Europe, the club has been considerably more than a domestic name: three EHF European League titles — 1998's forerunner competition included, though under the Cup name at the time — arrived in 2002, 2011 and 2023, alongside two EHF Cup Winners' Cups.

Home matches are watched from the IBF Arena, where 2,248 seats sit inside a ground that can hold close to 3,000 when standing room fills.
