Promotion to Liga Leumit in 2015–16 remains the high point for Ironi Nesher, and it came at the end of a climb that started at the bottom of the pyramid. Daniel Barak opened the scoring in the match that sealed the title, and Omer Bar-On added the winner, with Eldad Shavit in charge of a side that had gone from the fifth tier to the second inside a few seasons.
The club itself is a continuation rather than a fresh start: it took over the league place of Hapoel Tel Hanan, a Nesher side founded in 1954 that folded the same year Ironi Nesher was formed in 2009. The record book carries both names — the 1974–75 Liga Alef North title belongs to Hapoel Tel Hanan, the 2015–16 one to Ironi Nesher, and a Liga Gimel Samaria championship from 1998–99 sits under the old name as well.
Ali Kanana came through the club's own youth ranks and scored 14 goals in the 2018–19 season before his move to Hapoel Tel Aviv. Matches against Hapoel Kfar Kanna carry the sharpest edge of any fixture on the calendar, without ever acquiring a settled name of their own.
Nesher Stadium holds 2,500, modest even by the standards of the divisions the club has occupied. Black and white remain the colours home and away. There has been no national cup run to set beside the league promotion.
