Mogliano

Umberto Casellato coached Mogliano through the 2012–13 season, with Franco Properzi as his assistant. It ended with the club's only Italian championship in the Eccellenza. Mogliano beat Cavalieri Prato 16–11 in the final. The squad included Ezio Galon, Troy Nathan and the Argentine Agustin Costa Repetto.

Mogliano first appeared in 1956, spent 1958 to 1961 playing rugby league, and stopped in 1962 because of money. Seven years later, in October 1969, it came back under the name of Giuseppe Magnaguagno. It started in Serie C, dropped to Serie D in its first season, and won promotion straight back. The lion on the badge dates from the following decade: Giuseppe Alessandria brought back a logo from South Africa, and the club adapted it. The team has been "I Leoni" ever since.

Serie A came in 1983–84, when the shirts carried sponsors' names such as Fido and Lee Jeans. In 2004 the club merged with Rugby Silea as San Marco Rugby Club, kept its Serie A place, and was reconstituted as Mogliano Rugby in 2009 when the merger ended. It was renamed Mogliano Rugby 1969 in 2018 and Mogliano Veneto Rugby in 2022. Through all of this it played at the Stadio Maurizio Quaggia, which holds 786.

The youth system has supplied Giulio Marini, who moved on to Benetton Rugby, and Niccolò Fadalti, a long-serving Italy Sevens player. On 2023–24, the club won the Coppa Italia (Serie A Élite Cup).

The fixture that matters most is the Derby Veneto against Rangers Rugby Vicenza. Rugby San Donà and Rugby Mirano, the nearer neighbours, come second.
