The final was the closest the club has come to a national title.
The rugby section grew out of the wider Olympique Marcquois sports club, with the association formally registered in 1999 — the same year Émile Ntamack set up a partnership between OMR and Stade Toulousain that still shapes the place today. Young players move between the two clubs' academies. The clearest case is the Tolofua family: sons of the former international Petelo Tolofua, Sélévasio and Christopher went through OMR before playing for Toulouse, RC Toulon and Montpellier, with Sélévasio later capped for France.
Morgan Champagne now runs the first team.
