Redevelopment work at the site, aimed at lifting capacity to around 8,000, sent the club across the border for the 2025/26 season.
The Ospreys themselves are a newer creation than the ground they are tied to.
Domestically the region has had its moments: the Celtic League three times, in 2004–05, 2006–07 and 2009–10, then the Pro12 in 2011–12, plus the EDF Energy Cup in 2007–08. Europe has been a different story — semi-finals in the Challenge Cup are as far as the side has gone. Alun Wyn Jones captained the club through much of that era and holds the appearance record.
