Spaeri

Five employees of Georgia's Special State Protection Service put the club together in 2017, and it began in the Tbilisi Open League, which Spaeri won in its first season. From there the climb ran through the divisions in order: runners-up in Regionuli Liga East A in 2018, champions of Liga 4 in 2019, champions of Liga 3 in 2021, then second in Erovnuli Liga 2 in 2022 and third the year after.

The Georgian Cup of 2024 changed what the club is known for. Spaeri, a side that had never played in the top flight, beat Dinamo Tbilisi in the final. It remains the only major trophy in the cabinet.

What followed was less kind. Dila Gori took the Super Cup in 2025, and the same year Spaeri again finished second in Erovnuli Liga 2 — the third time in four seasons the club has come up just short of the promotion it has been chasing since the cup win.

Home is Spaeri Stadium, on Kvarli Street in the east of the city, a small ground by the standards of the opponents the club now draws. The cup run was played in front of crowds that most Georgian top-flight sides would count as a quiet night.

The founders have stayed close to the club rather than handing it off, and that has shaped it: the address, the phone number and the badge all still point back to the same group of five who registered it in 2017.
