Spartak Moskva U19

Home fixtures are played at the Cherenkov Academy Stadium, ground No. 4 on Maly Oleniy Lane in Moscow. It holds 3,077.

The senior club was founded on 18 April 1922, and youth sides existed alongside the first team from close to that date. It remains a division of AO FC Spartak-Moskva rather than a separate entity, and its crest is the same red diamond with the white "C" carried by the first team — no separate badge was made for it.

In that league the side has been champion four times — 2008, 2010, 2012/13 and 2016/17 — with five further runner-up finishes, and it has since taken silver in the Youth Football League's various age groups as well. The clearer thread runs through the players who passed through on their way elsewhere: Artem Dzyuba spent five years in the side, from 2003 to 2008, and Dzhano Ananidze came through a season later, in 2009–10.

CSKA is the opponent that gets called up specifically as a derby — matches against Zenit carry their own weight as the "derby of two capitals," but it is Spartak against CSKA's reserves that the fixture list marks out as the one to watch. Both still get played out on the same small ground behind the academy building.
