RKC Third Coast opened its books on 20 May 2023 with a 5-3 win over Minneapolis City SC. The name folds together Racine and Kenosha counties with a nod to Lake Michigan's local nickname, the Third Coast, and the club has kept both a men's side in USL League Two and a women's side in the USL W League running in parallel since that first season.

Home fixtures are played at Pritchard Park in Racine, a 2,000-capacity ground. The colours are red and navy, and Hummel supplies the kit.

There is no silverware to point to yet. What the club has built instead is a pathway: a USL Youth League programme feeding into a USL Academy Under-20 reserve side, aimed at producing players for the senior teams rather than importing them.
