Texoma

The United Soccer League (USL) granted the expansion franchise in October 2023, and the crest, name and colours followed that December.

The colours, magnolia and red , nod to the river and to Durant, Oklahoma, the "City of Magnolias". The nickname, Los Pájaros, refers to the two birds on the crest: the Northern Mockingbird for Texas and the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher for Oklahoma. The home shirt carries vertical stripes in the two colours.

Texoma played its first game in USL League One in March 2025, at Sherman Bearcat Stadium, which it shares with the Sherman High School Bearcats. Solomon Asante arrived after two USL Championship MVP awards with Phoenix Rising, in 2019 and 2020. Diego Pepi came on loan from FC Dallas. Goalkeeper Javier Garcia left his mark on the league's record books, becoming its all-time leader in penalty saves. Adrian Forbes was the first head coach.

The team finished 12th in that opening season. Texoma drops into USL League Two, an amateur and semi-professional division, for 2026. Rodeo SC, a sister club under the same ownership, is due to take a professional place in USL League One from Celina in 2027.

Texoma has won no honours, and the only professional season it has played is now behind it.
