About the player
Cerro Porteño moulded Bobadilla from the age of four, when he first walked into the club's football school. By December 2025 he was still a teenager, but the years in the youth ranks culminated in his promotion to the first team in early 2026. On 9 March 2026, brought on as a second-half substitute against Sportivo Trinidense, he set up the winning goal in a 2-1 victory during the Apertura 2026. Media outlets Versus and Monumental named him Man of the Match for his professional debut.
He reached roughly 18 appearances in the Primera División and six more in the Copa Libertadores. A league title with the first team has so far eluded him. He played for Cerro Porteño's U20 side and helped it to a runner-up finish in the Copa de Primera Juvenil, having also featured in the U20 Copa Libertadores.
Bobadilla earned a cap with Paraguay's U20 side in a friendly in 2024, though he has not yet been called up to the senior national team.
