Fifteen league titles is not a run, and Kalev has taken the Korvpalli Meistriliiga in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
The club did not start out under this name. It began in 1998 as the junior side of Canon Eesti, played under the name Ehitustööriist from 1999, and only became BC Kalev/Cramo in 2005, once the rights to the Kalev trademark had been leased. That same year brought the club's first championship.
Some of that history has a face attached. Martin Müürsepp played a season at the club in 2008–09 and later returned to the bench as an assistant coach. Others were built rather than borrowed: Kristjan Kangur was named Finals MVP in both 2009 and 2018, and along the way found time for 57 EuroLeague appearances elsewhere.
Domestically, the games that matter most are against Tartu Ülikool/Rock, the one rivalry in Estonian basketball with any real weight behind it.
