Bohdan Kushnirenko

Kushnirenko's path to Zorya Luhansk has run through six clubs and two disbandments. He came up through Dynamo Kyiv's youth system before moving to Zvyaizda Kyiv and then Arsenal Kyiv, where his senior career began with the reserve side. A brief spell at Metalist Kharkiv and a season at Chornomorets Odesa followed before he signed for FC Poltava in 2016, where he made 50 appearances and scored four goals until the club folded in early 2018.

His most productive spell came at MFC Mykolaiv, where he became a key player over three seasons, scoring 16 goals in 69 appearances. That stretch ended when financial trouble forced the club to release him in 2021. He moved on to Vorskla Poltava, then to Polissya Zhytomyr in January 2022 on a free transfer, where he stayed for two seasons, making 52 appearances and scoring nine goals. Every move of his career has come as a free transfer, without a fee changing hands.

A short stint at LNZ Cherkasy in 2025 preceded his switch to Zorya Luhansk, which he joined by mutual consent in September 2025. Now a defensive midfielder wearing the number 77 shirt, he has made five appearances for the club so far.

Kushnirenko has not represented Ukraine's senior national team. His only international experience came with the Ukraine student side, for whom he earned three caps and scored one goal at the 2019 Summer Universiade in Naples, where the team finished sixth.
