Ihor Perduta

Ihor Perduta spent most of his career at a single club before making the move to Zorya Luhansk in July 2025. He came through FC Ternopil and then Nyva Ternopil, where he won the Ukrainian Second League title in the 2008/09 season, before joining Vorskla Poltava in 2010 — the club where he would build his reputation.

A brief loan spell at Obolon Kyiv in the Ukrainian First League during the 2012/13 season, where he made 12 league appearances without scoring, was the only interruption. He returned to Vorskla in early 2013 and stayed for over a decade, becoming captain and going on to make more than 290 league appearances. Across all competitions for the club his figures reached 343 matches, three goals and 33 assists. The high point came in the 2017/18 season, when Vorskla finished as bronze medallists of the Ukrainian Premier League.

His one taste of international football came in October 2017, when Andriy Shevchenko called him into the Ukraine squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Kosovo and Croatia. Perduta stayed on the bench in both matches and was never capped. It was his only call-up to the national side.

At Zorya Luhansk he wears the number 44 shirt, continuing a right-back career built far more on longevity at one club than on moments in the spotlight.
