Lucas Oliveira

Lucas Oliveira's career has been built on repeated moves rather than a long stay at any one club, and his arrival at Mirassol continues that pattern. He rescinded his contract with Vasco da Gama in January 2026 to join on a free transfer, signing until December 2026, having made just 15 appearances for the Rio club since putting pen to paper there in January 2025.

The Rio de Janeiro-born defender's most stable period came at Atlético Goianiense, where a loan move in April 2018 became permanent by August that year and turned into a four-year stay. He made well over a hundred appearances there and won back-to-back Campeonato Goiano titles in 2019 and 2020.

A move to Cruzeiro in September 2022 brought promotion via the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B title that year, with the Belo Horizonte club taking on 70% of his economic rights. What followed was a stretch of loans abroad rather than a settled run in Brazil — spells at Real Valladolid in Spain and Kyoto Sanga in Japan during 2024, though neither produced an extended run of games.

Oliveira started out at Tigres do Brasil before a brief stop at Bangu. At Mirassol he now takes on the number 2 shirt, the latest stop in a path that has taken him from Rio to Goiás, Spain, Japan and back home again.
