Parfait Guiagon

Parfait Guiagon started out at Africa Sports d'Abidjan, where he was named Best Young Player in the Ivorian Professional League for the 2016–17 season, and was included in The Guardian's "Next Generation 2018" list before leaving Ivory Coast. In August 2019 he joined Maccabi Tel Aviv as a free agent, and spells away from the club on loan followed: 26 appearances and four goals at Beitar Tel Aviv Bat Yam, then 28 appearances and five goals at Maccabi Netanya. He was part of the Maccabi Tel Aviv squad that won the Israeli Premier League title in 2019–20, though he made just three league appearances that season.

His move to Sporting Charleroi in September 2023, for a reported fee of €1.5 million on a three-year contract, marked a significant phase of his career. He became a key player for the Belgian club, making 108 appearances and scoring 26 goals with 18 assists across all competitions. In the 2025–26 Belgian Pro League season he posted the highest successful dribbles per 90 minutes in the division, at 3.2. That form led to a move to Al-Taawoun FC in the Saudi Professional League in August 2026, on a three-year deal until 2029.

Guiagon made his senior debut for Ivory Coast on 11 June 2025, in a friendly against Canada, and had earned five caps by March 2026. He was named in Emerse Faé's 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, wearing the number 25 jersey.
