De Toekomst sits out at Borchlandweg, on the edge of Amsterdam-Duivendrecht, and it holds 2,250 people on a natural grass pitch. The complex opened in August 1996. When the draw sends a Champions League side to Amsterdam, the women move up the road to the Johan Cruijff ArenA.

The team itself is younger than the ground it plays on.

That cup became the club's habit. The 2019 win came against PEC Zwolle, the most recent in 2024 against Fortuna Sittard.

The league has been harder work. Ajax took the Eredivisie Vrouwen in 2016/17 and held it the next year, then waited until 2022/23 for the third.

They play in white-red-white and are known as the Godendochters , the Daughters of the Gods, taken from the men's Godenzonen . The women's side does not have a crest of its own; it uses the club's.
