TUS Bad Radkersburg beat ATSE Graz 3–1 in the 2024 Steirischer Cup final. Played by a side that once measured itself against European opposition.
That stretch began when the women's volleyball section reached the top flight, the Bundesliga, for 1993/94. The team went into European competition in 1995/96. In 1999 it finished third in the Bundesliga, and it went abroad again in 1999/2000 and 2000/01. No national title or Austrian Cup has followed. Since 2008/09 the team has played in the 2. Bundesliga, and it also enters the national cup.
The volleyball players belong to a much wider house. ATSE Graz is short for Arbeiter-Turn- und Sportverein Eggenberg, a workers' gymnastics and sports club founded in 1912. It now runs ten sections, and basketball, ice hockey and handball sit beside volleyball. The women play in blue and red.
Their home is the ASKÖ-Halle Eggenberg on Schloßstraße, in the same district of Graz where the parent club started. The main hall seats 750.
