CAV Esquimo Women

Dos Hermanas, in Seville, is known as the Ciudad Nazarena, the Nazarene City. Its women's volleyball team took its nickname from that: CAV Esquimo are called los Nazarenos.

In the 2025–26 season the team won the Superliga Femenina, also called the Liga Iberdrola, and the Copa de la Reina. CD Heidelberg was the opponent in both finals and lost both. No women's volleyball team from Andalusia had won a national title before, so the two trophies reached the region in a single season and went to the same town.

The club's roots run back further than that season. The date is given as 1973 in one account and 1982 in another. The later date marks the club's restructuring as CAV Esquimo Dos Hermanas, after it split from Club Nueva Asociación de Voleibol.

Los Montecillos, the municipal sports complex, is also called the Pabellón Francisco de Dios Jiménez. It holds 4,000 people, and it is where the Nazarenos play their home fixtures.
