Twice in six years Delfines del Este have walked off a national final on the wrong side of the result, and in August 2026 they did it again on a Caribbean stage, beaten by Mount Pleasant Academy in the CFU Club Shield decider. The first of those finals came in 2020, when Cibao FC took the Liga Dominicana de Fútbol title; the 2025 Copa LDF ended the same way.

They began in La Romana and later moved the operation west to Santo Domingo Este.
