Domaljevac

Domaljevac has no arena of its own, which shapes more than just the address on match nights. The team plays out of the Secondary School Centre's hall in Orašje, a hundred-seat room, because the village that gives the club its name has never built one. What Domaljevac lacks in bricks it makes up in results against opponents with far grander premises, and that gap is where the club's standing in Bosnian volleyball comes from: not the ground, but the run of finals against the country's better-resourced sides.

The club started out in 1980 as OK Mladost before taking the name it carries now, HOK Domaljevac . Its honours read as a string of near-misses that turned into one real breakthrough: runner-up in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup in 2017, then again in 2021 and 2022, and runner-up in the national championship in both of those same years. The cup finally turned in 2020, when Domaljevac won the Volleyball Cup of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pero Stanić, born in 1963, is the name attached to the club's earlier years, having played for Vojvodina and HAOK Mladost before his time at Domaljevac. Tomislav Čošković carried the club's reputation abroad, a former international who went on to play for Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe in Turkey.

That Turkish thread runs through the squad more than once: Marko Matić, a middle-blocker born in 1988, also spent part of his career at Arkas.
