Konuralp is a historic district of Düzce, and the city's men's volleyball team is named after it: Konuralp Beyleri, the Konuralp Lords. The team belongs to the municipal multi-sport club Düzce Belediyespor. Its official name is Düzce Belediyesi Spor Akademisi Erkek Voleybol Takımı, the Düzce Municipality Sports Academy Men's Volleyball Team.

The club was founded in 1986 but took its present identity in 2019. That year it renamed itself 1881 Düzce Belediyespor, taking the number from Atatürk's birth year and Düzce's founding year. It also settled on red and navy blue as its colours.

The most significant result so far came in 2024–25. The men finished second in the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) Men's Second League play-off and were promoted to the Men's Volleyball First League, where they now play.

Women's volleyball in the city is a separate project. Düzce Voleybol SK was founded in 2021 and plays in the Women's Second League.
