Bronze at the CSIT World Games in Loutraki carries the most weight in the club's record so far: a straight-sets win over Latvia, 3:0, in the small final, and the only medal the volleyball section can point to beyond Estonia's own leagues.
That parent body, Eesti Maaülikooli Spordiklubi, was registered on 29 March 1953, and the club carried its name — EPA Spordiklubi. The volleyball team plays under the university's own colours, green and white, and is known in competition both as EMÜ and, in some entries, as Eesti Maaülikool/Embach.
The team trains and plays in Tartu, at the Maaülikooli spordihoone, and competes in the Esiliiga, the second tier of Estonian volleyball.
