Grondal

Grøndal EV never fully left the school gym. The hall at Grøndalsvængets Skole is still in use, and it was that school's volleyball club that became one half of the club in 2001. On Sandbjerggade in Copenhagen's 2200 postcode, Bellahøj Hall serves as a third base. The club moves between these halls, and it has kept a link to the Technical University of Denmark.

The other half of the 2001 merger was Efterslægtens Volleyballklub af 1973, known as EV73. The merged club has won no senior league title or cup. Its record is in youth volleyball, where it has collected medals since 1997. The most recent gold came in 2017, when the under-14 team won the Danish Youth Championships.

That youth work is tied to Thorbjørn Svendsen , who was youth chairman for many years. The club named him its Volunteer of the Year in 2005 and again in 2023. Copenhagen gave him the "Golden Pointer" as Teacher of the Year in 2009. In 2018 the Danish Volleyball Federation gave him its Life Time Achievement Award. Recognition for the department followed the same pattern. The Danish Volleyball Federation voted it Youth Department of the Year in 2006, and the Zealand District did so in 2018. In 2007 Copenhagen Municipality named the whole club its Sports Association of the Year.

The men's H1 side compete in the 1. Division East, and the women's D1 team in Danmarksserien. Both meet other Copenhagen-area clubs such as Gentofte Volley and Hvidovre VK.
