Sleza Wroclaw Women

Two women's teams share Wrocław, and only one of them carries the city's name in yellow and red. When Ślęza meet Śląsk, the fixture goes by the Wrocław Derby, and the 2019 regional cup final gave the meeting a scoreline worth keeping: Ślęza beat Śląsk Wrocław II 3–0 to take the Puchar Polski of the Wrocław district.

That trophy came before the climb. Ślęza won Group III of the III liga in 2021/22, went up, and finished second in the southern group of the II liga the following season — two promotions in two years, which put them in the I liga and then the Ekstraliga.

Home is the Centrum Piłkarskie at ulica Kłokoczycka 5, known around the city as Kłokoczyce after the district rather than the club. It holds 1,000.

The football section sits inside something older and broader. I KS Ślęza Wrocław was founded on 16 June 1945, and the basketball section, the part of Ślęza best known outside Wrocław, came in 1953.
