TransINVEST Vilnius

Transekspedicija, which moves freight out of the Vilnius district, put its money and its name behind a side that first registered as Transekspedicijos and set up in Galinė, a village on the edge of the capital.

It did not stay there. Then the part that had no precedent: in 2023 TransINVEST beat FA Šiauliai 2–1 in the final of the Lithuanian Cup and became the first club from outside the top flight to win it. European qualification normally requires three years of existence, and UEFA granted an exemption so the Conference League entry could stand.

The A Lyga debut in 2024 was a 3–2 win over Hegelmann. Later that year came the Supercup final, lost to Panevėžys on penalties.

Fixtures against Žalgiris acquired a name of their own. Both clubs are owned by transport companies, which is where the furist derby comes from, and where the club's own nickname — Fūristai, the drivers — is rooted.

The team plays in yellow and white there, blue and white away.

Relegation followed in 2025, and so did an immediate answer: TransINVEST won the I Lyga again and returned to the top division. Marius Stankevičius is the head coach, with Algimantas Karavajevas as chairman.
