Jahreef Miguel left the 2025 CAZOVA Under-23 Men's Championship with two awards: most valuable player and best opposite. The final was played at home in the Maloney Indoor Sport Arena in Arouca, on the outskirts of Port of Spain.

Miguel was not the only one honoured. Jerome Morrison was named best setter and Rayon Dickson best libero. Michael Burkett took the award for best receiver.

The under-23 programme of the Trinidad and Tobago Volleyball Federation (TTVF) first appeared at the NORCECA U23 Men's Pan American Cup in Havana in 2014, where it beat El Salvador. It returned in 2016, in Mexico. From 2021 to 2025 the team was absent from that tournament.

It sent the squad to the 2026 Senior Men's Pan American Cup in Mexico. They finished 10th there, beaten by the United States, the Dominican Republic and Guatemala.

The team wears red, white and black, the colours of the national flag. The nickname Soca Warriors belongs to the football sides, so the volleyball players go by the national team's name alone.

The arena in Arouca, where the final was decided in a fifth set, is where the team trains and where its home crowd gathers.
