«Ufimochka»
Dynamo-Ufimochka-BashGAU reached its highest point in the Russian Super League in 2013, finishing runners-up under the name Ural, and that same season took the club to a final of the CEV Challenge Cup. A silver medal in the Russian Cup came earlier still, in 1999, when the side played as Neftyanik Bashkiria and lost out only at the last stage.
The team traces back to 1965, when it was formed at the Ufa State Oil Institute under the name Burevestnik. It has changed names repeatedly since — Reaktiv, Ufimka, Prometheus, Samrau-UGNTU, Ufimochka-UGNTU — It now sits inside the structure of the men's club Dynamo-Ural.
The team still carries the nickname Ufimochka.
Vladimir Smelchenko now coaches the side, with Valeria Sorokina wearing the captain's armband.
