Oriental beat La-Luz 2:0 in the fifteenth round of the Second Division's second phase on Saturday. The visitors took all three points away from the Estadio La-Luz, moving clear at the summit of the table. Three goals and two shots on target from each side told a different story to the final scoreline.

R. Alexandrino opened the scoring in the thirty-ninth minute, finding the net before half-time. N. Rodriguez doubled the advantage in the fifty-second, and that was enough to settle the affair. Neither side saw a red card, and no substitutions were recorded in the match data.

La-Luz had 53 per cent possession and 98 attacks compared to 94 for Oriental, but the visitors were sharper. Five shots on target for the hosts yielded nothing, while four on target produced two goals. By then the game had settled into a rhythm the away side understood well.

The result ends La-Luz's unbeaten run from two matches and extends their struggles away from home. Oriental's victory moves them further clear of the chasing pack with a two-goal advantage in the standings.
