Fakel U19

Fakel-M exists because Voronezh built an academy around it: the club's youth vertical, the Vasily Proskurin Academy, opened its doors in August 2020. The line running through this particular squad goes back further, though — before it wore this shirt it was known as Trud-d, founded in 1961 and playing in Russian championships from 1997 onward. The current under-19 side took shape when it entered the Youth Football League for the 2022/23 season.

They train and play at the Lokomotiv ground on Narimanov Street, part of the academy's own training base in Voronezh's Zheleznodorozhny district.

The one campaign that stands out is 2024/25, when Fakel-M won Group 2 of the Youth Football League with 45 points, securing the title before the season had even finished. The current league table tells a different story — as of August 2026, the side sits 16th in the MFL, bottom of the pack.

The academy's real output shows up elsewhere: around 16 of its graduates have signed professional contracts, and five have already made their first-team debuts.
